Guardian Group is an integrated financial services entity with operations throughout the Caribbean.

Challenge
The Guardian Group is becoming ‘paperless’ in many functional areas. Especially operating in the financial services sector, this is being met with resistance from some staff.
Solution
In trying to get my team to change their old ways of thinking, I used my understanding of the “4 Reasons” people resist change” from the module Lead Your Team Through Change. This helped me to encourage them, while coordinating and leading an initiative to now send electronic reports to our clients.
Result
I was able to get the desired buy-in. And, labour, paper and printer costs are set to decrease to an estimated $25,000 per annum.
